Yes, we heated the pool! 🙂
Did you know that when the Pier Walk property was built in 1969 it used to be called The Shore Road Inn and it had a heated pool?
It's true! And we have the postcard from 1970 to prove it.
Back then, your hosts Gert and Dave Riekse advertised the heated pool along with other cutting-edge amenities like "Color TV" and "Direct Dial Phones". Now the heated pool is back! But without the direct dial phones...as new hosts, we like to think we made a few more improvements along the way. :-)
